I found a koi in the sink
Red and white, blinking at me
Water gone, bowl tipped over
He looked mad, like “set me free”
I had bread, I had doubt
I had no clue what to do
You came in with a towel
Said, “Don’t panic, baby, move”
So we filled up the bucket
Slow, slow, slow
